Irritable

The APA states that over half of those suffering from chronic pain experience heightened levels of irritability. Many hold a great deal of shame around these feelings and they are correlated with higher levels of depression. This painting is meant to represent these flashes of anger that often feel unavoidable and out of control for those of us with severe daily pain.
